The Pete's Greens Vermont Farm Share DELIVERS WEEKLY to locations across Brooklyn.

**THis program IS on pause.  stay tuned for 2018 news**

How does it work?

Farm Share members sign up online, select the location most convenient for picking up your produce, then select which share your want to receive. Pay online by Sunday night and by Thursday, you'll be picking up your produce.

We offer three levels of prepay payment options: pre-pay for four deliveries ($100), ten deliveries ($250), or twenty deliveries ($500). Every week you receive a share, the cost will be deducted from your balance. Payments by e-check and credit/debit card will be enrolled in our Automatic Payment Plan on checkout. When your account balance falls to $0, your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged to refill your account balance for the same payment plan. You'll receive an email alert each time your account balance dips to $25 and prior to your card being charged.

Managing your deliveries is easy! Prior to checking out, you'll create an online account. There, you can have easy control and flexibility over when you receive your veggie deliveries.

Every week, you'll head to your pickup site and grab the box with your name on it, then enjoy delicious nutrition-packed organic veggies fresh from our farm.

What can you expect?

Every week of the Vermont Farm Share, you can expect a box of 5-7 types of farm-fresh good eats, including fresh greens every week. Because we grow veggies according to the season, and we grow year round, in the summer, your box will contain tender greens like kale, chard, Asian greens, and spinach; fresh potatoes, carrots, and beets; onions, leeks, scallions, and garlic; head lettuce, arugula, and mesclun; and all your favorite summer veggies like tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, and much more to come! You can expect close to 70 different varieties throughout the season.

The Vermont Goodie Veggie Share includes a smaller veggie offering (4 - 6 items) plus one special Vermont product! You can expect to receive a piece of award-winning cheese, artisan butter, raw honey, pure Vermont maple syrup, fresh mushrooms, organically grown heirloom dry beans, or another super special product! Each week your veggies will include an item for your pantry, either grown organically in Vermont or made with in Vermont with Vermont ingredients! Veggies will include dairy products, but no meat.

All the veggies in your box are grown on our farm!

Boxes are hand packed packed with care. Each week, you'll receive a newsletter with storage tips, recipes, and news about our farm.

There is no work requirement with our farm share but our farm is open year round...  schedule a visit with us if you're in the area!

*The fine print:

  • Please pick up your share within the advertised timeframe. Fresh produce has a limited life span if not picked up in time and refrigerated (or eaten). If you're unable to pick up your share, please make alternative arrangements with a friend. If you need to skip a week, please give us a heads up by noon on Monday. Items may not be stored overnight.
  • If you need to skip a week's delivery, please let us know by noon on Monday. We will credit your account to use towards a future delivery. We cannot make changes to the week's delivery after noon on Monday.
  • Please respect your site hosts' property.
  • We primarily communicate via email. Please direct any questions or comments to Pete's Greens directly - not to our site hosts. We will notify you of any changes to your share pickups.
  • Our web management system is powered by Farmigo. If you already have a Farmigo account, you'll be able to log-in using your existing information.
  • Pete's Greens grows over 200 varieties of vegetables. Your share includes produce grown directly on our farm, by our crew. While occasionally we may substitute an item or two from neighboring farms, your share is overwhelming produce from our farm - from seed to table!
Nutrition is directly linked to the health and sustainability of any region. In Craftsbury, Vermont, Pete’s Greens has proven that organic farming can work year-round, offering fresh vegetables at any time of year. This approach helps communities become less dependent on imported produce and builds a stronger foundation for a future where quality food is part of the lifestyle, not the exception. However, modern life is full of contradictions. People strive for natural products and care about the well-being of their families, but at the same time, they often indulge in activities that carry certain risks. A clear example can be seen in the fact that interest in gambling continues to grow, despite all the warnings about the possible consequences. This topic is discussed in detail on the sitetorontomike.com, where it is discussed why online gambling continues to attract people’s attention despite its unsafety. On the one hand, the organic farm Pete’s Greens demonstrates how one can take a step towards health and harmony with nature. On the other hand, habits and temptations like gambling remind us that the choice is always ours. Ultimately, it is the mindfulness of our actions that shapes the future – whether it is the decision to eat more local vegetables or to be smart about our online entertainment.
